How to Create an Email Forwarder in cPanel
An email forwarder sends a copy of every message that arrives at one address on to another address. Use one when you want mail for an address such as sales@yourdomain.com delivered to an inbox you already check, without setting up a separate mailbox.
Before you start: You'll need your cPanel login details. The address you're forwarding doesn't need to exist as a mailbox. If it does exist, messages are still delivered to that mailbox as well as being forwarded.
Step 1: Open Forwarders
Log in to cPanel. In the Email section, click Forwarders.

Step 2: Click Add Forwarder
Under Create an Email Account Forwarder, click Add Forwarder.

Step 3: Enter the forwarder details
- Address to Forward: Type the part of the address before the @ sign, for example
sales. - Domain: If you have more than one domain, choose the right one from the drop-down list.
- Destination: Leave Forward to Email Address selected and type the full address the mail should go to, for example
you@example.com. - Click Add Forwarder.

Tip: To forward to more than one address, create a separate forwarder for each destination using the same Address to Forward.
Step 4: Check the confirmation
A green message confirms that mail sent to the address will now be copied to the destination.

Step 5: View or remove your forwarders
Click Go Back to return to the Forwarders page. Your new forwarder is listed under Email Account Forwarders. To stop forwarding later, click Delete next to the forwarder and confirm.

Troubleshooting
- Forwarded mail isn't arriving: Check the destination's spam or junk folder. Some providers, such as Gmail and Outlook.com, may filter forwarded messages, especially spam that has been forwarded on.
- Want to forward a whole domain? Use Add Domain Forwarder on the Forwarders page instead.
